Project Life Week 23
I used a mixture of the Marks & Co kits on this spread, but primarily the scrapbook add-on called Bronte (which was my favorite add-on this month).
For the title card, I cut the speech bubbles out of patterned paper. I also cut the numbers out of another paper and outlined them with black sharpie. I used the adorable stamp set in the Steinbeck add-on. I love that cute little stamp! I stamped it with pink ink and then colored the circle in with markers and outlined with a black fine point marker to add details. I think I will be using this stamp set over and over.
The "notes from our day" card I made myself just doodled with markers on a white grid card. I journaled with a Micro black pen on it and used some of the word stickers from the PL kit to fill in spots (attached them to white cardstock first so they showed up better).
I used the stamps in the Bronte kit quite a bit - the two border stamps with dots and little stripes are super versatile to create borders and backgrounds.
I glued some of the colored hemp cording to the heart on the front of the vellum pocket and used the pocket for extra photos. I used the inside of the transparent frame with pink splotches on it for my title "first date" and then stitched a cork heart onto it. By adhering the white letters on the top of the transparency and the black letters underneath it, the title looks dimensional.
