Project Life Week 50b 2013
This is the second half of week 50 for last December. I actually did a full spread and then used an insert that you are seeing on half of each of the week 50 spreads (it is the Becky Higgins one with a 4x6 horizontal along the top and bottom).
Again, I primarily used the holiday items - the Gingerbread and Cinnamon Spice kit as well as the Holiday card set add-on. I added some print and cut files as well.
For the wood card that says "merry and bright", I first rubbed white paint over the words and then wiped them off the card so they were only showing in the cut out words. Then I used Mr. Huey by dropping drops of it on the card and then spreading it around with my finger. I love how it turned out!
For the chalkboard arrow, I stamped "I Love This" and then used a white uniball over the white ink to make it more opaque. I made borders with the little Christmas tree stamp and star stamp, added stars to the star paper (they are SO tiny!), and used the JOY stamp for a border on one card. I really got into stamping on this spread and I love doing it! You can make such unique embellishments by taking the time to stamp. The stamps sets have never been better than this month!
The card on the bottom left is my Christmas card. I started by making a scrapbook card with supplies and then scanned it in for my cards. So the items used on this card are NOT in the kits.
I used all three bows from the card kit. They lay fairly flat if they are stapled down. They are so cute and I'm glad I can get more from the Printshop line!
