glad he is over...now i am wondering about Ike

{deep sigh}  why do i still live on the coast?  lol  i have some pics on my blog ...yes i was out in the hurricane with my hubby..who is law enforcement...so i was out legally...lol.....

 how is everyone in LA?  please update me...i have been out of touch

thank you girls...judi i am glad all is well with you too....i was wondering....and umm yes...Ike has me a little concerned....ahhhh october can't get here fast enough..  Can you tell me why i still live on the coast....grrrr....

the beach is what got tore up.........HOLY CANOLI...thankfully i am about 4 miles north of the beach!

Greta, We are mostly made of salt water... so of course we all want to be by the sea  My mom grew up on Long Island Sound in New London CT, she made me promise not to live by the ocean. It is mighty hard to keep that promise. I have to go check Ike, Yikes,

glad to see you back here and that you're ok. i got your pics that you sent in the email...craziness! the thing that gets me, here in tx, i didn't see a hint of news on you guys in mississippi, only stuff on new orleans.

my niece is heading for home in raleigh, nc. she is going to school down in wilmington and they told all the kids to leave b/c of hannah.
